SportSpired Games
SportSpired Games takes players inside their favorite sports. Beneath the surface, below the hype, and closer to the action. They give them more than a place to play sports online. They give them a place to love them—and live them. They make games that are true to sport, and thus they wanted an identity that showed that heart, soul and passion.

Exploration Phase
The first stage of the branding process was to pinpoint the most crucial aspects of who SportSpired Games is through a 'tissue paper' session that divided the creative concepts into four buckets.
I focused on ideas around competition, unity, timelessness and community. The logos were simplistic and easily identifiable while weaving in double meanings. The wordmarks explored a range from bold to collegiate.
Refinement &
Brand Book
The refinement stage determined that the team was looking to infuse the idea of passion even deeper into the logo, so I explored 'S' shaped flames and fists as the benchmark. I then paired a strong typeface and a bold color palette to complete the finalized lockup.

Web Design
Because SportSpired Games was just beginning their journey as a company, they needed a site to attract the right crowd to build the games as soon as possible without introducing visuals of the actual gameplay. As such, we created a simplified site that hinted at the games to come, but ensured that future colleagues could apply quickly to join the team as the top priority.
